Acoustics Health and Safety, and Environmental Health
We offer a range of flexible Continuing Professional Development courses, access to modules that can be studied on an individual basis, and full degree courses in the areas of Acoustics, Environmental Health and Health and Safety. We are also happy to work with employers to deliver bespoke courses in these areas. A number of our courses can be delivered in the workplace as well as at our city centre campus where we have specialist facilities for acoustics and practical food inspection.

All of our modules are practice focused and offer flexibility in order to develop ‘bespoke’ degree courses for staff. Individual modules may be undertaken on a ‘stand-alone’ basis and funded places* may be available.
*NHS staff (or staff from the private / voluntary sector whose organisations either offer placements for student healthcare professionals or contribute to the delivery of NHS services within the Yorkshire and Humber region) may be eligible for HEE funded CPD places. Please contact our university if you are unsure about your eligibility.
Dietetics and Nutrition
We promote flexibility on our Continuing Professional Development Scheme with many of our modules being delivered over teaching blocks of 3 day + 1 day and some modules delivered as distance or on-line learning. We welcome applications from practitioners who already have a number of existing credits and facilitate individualised courses to ensure practice requirements are met.
