course fees and living costs

How much will my course cost?

Your tuition fees are based on these factors:

  • Which level your course is – whether it is a pre-sessional, foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate course
  • The cost can also depend on which course you want to study. For example, some of our postgraduate courses vary in price. We recommend that you check the fees for your specific course by using our Course Finder
  • Your tuition fee status, which will differ based on whether you are an EU or Non-EU International student

The table below contains general tuition fee costs for Non-EU international students starting a course in September 2022 and January 2023. If you are an EU student, please visit our EU Finance page to view your fees and funding information.

Course level Annual Tuition Fees - Non-EU Students
Pre-sessional 5 weeks £1,350
Pre-sessional 10 weeks £2,700
Foundation £12,500
Undergraduate / Bachelors (most courses) £14,000
Postgraduate / Masters (most courses) £15,000
Research To be confirmed - visit The Graduate School website for more details.

Funding your course

There are ways you may be able to fund your course. Sometimes it is possible to get sponsorship from a government body in your country. There are many different options, so have a look through the links carefully to see if they apply to you.

Paying your course fees

  1. Pay a minimum of 50% of your first-year tuition fees to Leeds Beckett University

For example, with a first-year tuition fee of £14,000 and scholarship of £1000, the minimum would be £6,500 (50% of 13,000),

    or

Send a copy of your official sponsor letter to cas@leedsbeckett.ac.uk Sponsored students are usually sponsored by a government, employer or another official organisation. You are not a sponsored student if a family member or friend is providing you with financial assistance.

  2. Pay the remainder of your course fees within three months of starting your course.

Alumni Discount

A 10% discount on your first-year tuition fee is available if you have graduated with a Leeds Beckett undergraduate degree and register for one of our postgraduate courses.

To find out whether you are eligible for this discount, please read our conditions for further information and contact fees@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
