University Business Centres

The University Business Centres are operating normal access and staffing times. We strongly encourage businesses to work from home where they can, in accordance with the Government guidance.

We are continuing to adhere to Government advice on working safely during COVID-19 in offices and contact centres and guidance for employers, employees and the self-employed, as well as new guidance as it becomes available. If you need to work in the building, we would advise that you keep your workspace well ventilated.

The Government has announced a business support campaign and published guidance for employers and businesses and support for businesses. The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership have published information about business support available for businesses affected by coronavirus.

Guidance on reducing the risks from coronavirus (Covid-19) is also available from the National Federation of Self-Employed and Small Businesses (FSB).

Refer to for the latest information from the Government on the coronavirus (Covid-19). The Government has also set up an email alert system which you can sign up to.

We would refer you to the financial support available from the Government at this time. The Coronavirus Act 2020 (CA 2020), section 82 and section 83 has been extended to 30 June 2021. Clients/tenants in business premises are protected against non-payment of rent during this period.
