Exams and assessments in 2021
The university is putting in place a range of measures to ensure your transition to university is as clear and easy as possible. We are working closely with UCAS and the Department for Education to ensure that we are ready to receive your level 3 results, whatever form these might take. We will be flexible and take your whole application into consideration when making offers and confirming places on our courses.
Your learning and teaching experience
Update 9 July 2021
As you may be aware, the Prime Minister has announced that national Covid-19 restrictions in England are anticipated to end on Monday 19 July.
We are all looking forward to welcoming you to our campus from September, to enjoy the full student experience and we are planning on offering you face-to-face teaching from the start of the next academic year. Where online learning is offered, this will be where it complements and enhances your learning experience, and will be offered alongside face-to-face learning. You will also be able to enjoy the full range of social and learning facilities on offer on campus, including access to libraries, study spaces, catering, bars, and sport and leisure facilities.
We will work closely with public health officials in Leeds to manage any outbreak of Covid-19 in our halls or on campus. If Covid-19 outbreaks are severe, we may be required by law to change our plans and introduce restrictions. If that happens, we have plans in place to make sure progress in your studies will not be affected.
You can find out more about our teaching and learning principles for the academic year 2021/2022 on our website.
Information for international students
Arrival in the UK
The UK government is operating a ‘traffic light’ system for international arrivals. It has rated countries as red, amber or green depending on the Covid-19 situation in each country. What you must do when you arrive in England from abroad depends on where you have been in the 10 days before you arrive. Full guidance can be found on the UK government website . Please be aware, countries and territories can be moved between lists if the conditions change and you must continue to visit this website for the most up-to-date information.
Leeds Beckett will support you with your arrival in Leeds and we are providing a range of options, including quarantine support packages and airport pick-ups. Further details can also be found on our international arrival webpages.
